How to make your body flexible for martial arts training(wushu)?

I want to be able to do high kicks, tumbling, back, side, front flip, and other acrobatics study in wushu.|||Stretch, Tai Chi,Pilaties, are all good. I do Tai Chi.

You must stretch every day for at least 20 min. to start and than around 10 min. a day to maintain. Warm up before stretching with a light aerobic work out of 10 to 20 min. or a hot shower. Mix up your stretching with ballistic stretches and assisted stretches. For assisted stretches you will need a workout partner.

Yes yoga helps also.|||Stretch Stretch Stretch... That%26#039;s the best thing for you, if it be in the form of yoga, or what have you its the best thing that will help. Try to stretch for about 30 seconds to warm you muscles up and a minute plus if you want to increase your stretch.|||yoga is one exercise that helps flex muscles and tones up your body too... start with yoga and go to a good yogi to learn yoga.|||Use the foam rollers to mobilize your tight muscle areas...it really helps. It will probablay be uncomfortable or might even hurt a little bit the first time you do it|||find a martial arts teacher that incorporates yoga into the routine. It really helps me a lot.|||Try yoga and stretch 2- 3 times a day.
