This question makes no sense|||What do you mean by rank. In terms of beauty and athleticism it is top of the food chain, much prettier and more difficult than a Heinan or other Kata. In fact, the traditional Taijiquan forms are far more fluent and reaching than the traditional Japanese/Korean forms. Many of my fellow students were ex TKD and Kempo people.
After studying Taijiquan for three short years and realizing that I will never look that pretty, I began to understand that wushu is a state of mind as well as a series of movements.|||wu shu is a modern demo art not to be confused with ancient wu su or war arts which involved practical training in weapons.
If you want to learn how to gain complete control of your body it is a good practice but it is the only form I would say %26quot;start young%26quot;
It%26#039;s practacality as a fighting system is pretty much nil.|||Wushu is wushu, no %26quot;rank%26quot; is necessary.
